At 20 years old Tom Kramer had the break of his life writing and directing films for such future comedic greats as Larry David, Larry Charles, and many others on ABC’s “Fridays.” But after the show ended, soon drug/alcohol addiction and depression devoured his life… seemingly destroying his career.
Tom courageously and emotionally shares with us the excruciating AND inspiring details of his life story that includes: homelessness, repeated rehab stays, brutal drunk driving accidents, and a failed suicide attempt.
Despite the overwhelming odds, Tom now has his life back. He’s directed an episode of “Curb Your Enthusiasm,” written/produced on TBS’ hit show, “Deal With It,” alongside Howie Mandel, and had many other incredible career successes.
But Tom’s greatest life achievement is that he has finally found inner serenity, acceptance, and love! Tears of gratitude and joy literally fill the studio in this spiritually moving, hopeful, and uplifting hour.
